Get Involved with a Political Campaign
Interested in getting involved with a campaign?
The 2014 election is just around the corner. One of the simplest ways to get involved in local and state politics is it to make a campaign contribution. You can donate directly to the candidate through the candidate’s campaign website, or you can contribute to a candidate through the MAFP by joining the Family Medicine Political Action Committee (FMPAC).
The Family Medicine PAC prioritizes its collective contributions for lawmakers who are dedicated to addressing our health care challenges, particularly as they relate to family medicine and the delivery of primary care.
Another way to get involved is to volunteer. Simply contact the local campaign office, explain that you are a family physician and inquire about opportunities appropriate for your availability. MAFP staff would be happy to assist you in getting started.
