MAFP Advocacy Committee
The purpose of the MAFP Advocacy Committee is to ensure that family physicians have a voice in Lansing through proactive advocacy efforts. The committee meets face-to-face throughout the year to discuss current and changing trends in the policy environment—both at the state and federal levels—and to set MAFP’s legislative strategy and priorities. The committee consists of family physicians, family medicine residents, medical students and MAFP staff.
As a member of this committee, you will also receive regular communication updates from MAFP Director of Government Affairs Christin Nohner.
If you are an MAFP member and would like to join this committee, please complete the Committee Sign-up Form. Feel free to contact Christin Nohner at 517.664.9082 with additional questions.
