The Michigan Academy of Family Physicians (MAFP) and the Michigan Association of Osteopathic Family Physicians (MAOFP)—which collectively represent more than 4,500 Family Physicians statewide—invite you to the 2015 Michigan Family Medicine Advocacy Day on February 24, 2015 in Downtown Lansing.

The annual Michigan Family Medicine Advocacy Day provides a valuable opportunity for Family Physicians, Family Medicine residents, and medical students to visit with legislators and discuss legislative and policy issues, including access to primary care, team-based health care, primary care workforce issues, and payment and delivery reforms.

There is no cost to attend this event! However, space is limited so we ask you to register early to reserve your spot. For more information about the event, click here. Or, to register, click here.

In addition to attending the event, you will be given the opportunity to contribute to the Family Medicine Political Action Committee (PAC) as part of your registration. This is an optional contribution to the fund that supports advocacy efforts on behalf of Family Physicians across the state. To learn more about the Family Medicine PAC and how it is working on behalf of Michigan Family Physicians, click here.

If you have any questions about the 2015 Michigan Family Medicine Advocacy Day or the FMPAC, please contact MAFP Director of Government Affairs, Christin Nohner, at cnohner@mafp.com or 517.664.9082.
