MAFP Foundation's 2016-2017 Academic Year FMIG Funding Application Period is Now Open

The MAFP Foundation—the philanthropic arm of your Academy that supports the advancement of Family Medicine in Michigan in the areas of student and resident interest, professional development, continuing medical education, research and public health—invites Family Medicine Interest Groups (FMIGs) in Michigan to apply for grant funding for the upcoming academic year. This funding is intended to support your FMIG's activities and efforts to increase student interest in Family Medicine in Michigan.
To be considered for 2016-2017 academic year funding from the MAFP Foundation, your FMIG must complete an online application no later than April 15.
FMIGs selected to receive funding will be required to complete a final report no later than April 15 of the academic year for which the FMIG received funding. Photos, promotional materials, news releases and other materials are also requested to showcase the events that FMIGs hosted throughout the year for which Foundation funding was utilized.
If you have any questions, please contact MAFP Headquarters at 517.347.0098.
