Physicians Raise the Profile of Family Medicine in Michigan

On Tuesday, February 25, over 60 family physicians, family medicine residents and medical students gathered in Downtown Lansing at Karoub Associates to advocate for policies to improve health care outcomes for Michigan’s citizens at the annual Michigan Family Medicine Advocacy Day.

MAFP to Offer Five DOT Training Courses

MAFP is offering five opportunities this spring for health care professionals to obtain the necessary training to sit for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners certification exam. Training courses will be offered in five locations throughout the state.

MAFP Foundation Offering Resident and Student Scholarships to AAFP National Conference

MAFP and the MAFP Foundation are seeking delegates and alternate delegates to represent Michigan during the 2014 National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students on August 7-9 in Kansas City, Missouri. The MAFP Foundation will provide a $1,000 scholarship for the chosen delegates and alternate delegates.
