Doctors Rose Ramirez (pictured on right), Myral Robbins (pictured on left), and Tina Tanner (center), all members of the Michigan Academy of Family Physicians, have distinguished themselves as physician leaders in patient rooms and board rooms across Michigan, and in 2015 each is able to include a new line on her long list of accomplishments: being the top doctor at one three statewide associations that collectively represent more than 26,000 physicians and the millions of patients they treat.

House, Senate Community Health Budgets Clear First Hurdle

This week, House and Senate Appropriations Subcommittees on Community Health completed work on their respective budget proposals for Fiscal Years (FY) 2016 and 2017. Both budgets had notable differences from the Governor’s budget proposal released in February.

Scholarships Available to Represent Michigan at AAFP National Conference

The MAFP Foundation is seeking delegates and alternate delegates to represent Michigan during the 2015 National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students on July 30-August 1 in Kansas City, Missouri. The MAFP Foundation will provide a $1,000 scholarship for the chosen delegates and alternate delegates.
